Freckles
Freckles are small highlighted spots of melanin on the uncovered skin or membrane of several people having fair enough complexion for the spots to be noticeable. Freckles are plane, round spots that usually range in the size of the head of a nail. The spots appear randomly on the skin, particularly after frequent exposure to sunlight and mostly in persons having fair complexion. Freckles are frequently found on the face, although, they may become visible on any type of skin exposed to the sun. Freckles are uncommon on toddlers and more common on children before teenage years; freckles are less common on adults. There are two types of freckles: Ephelides is a hereditary mannerism. It’s used to explain a freckle that is flat, light brown or red, and becomes paler in the winter. Ephelides are very common in those with light complexions and with the habitual use of sun block, can be concealed.Liver spot, also known as sun spots are that type of freckles which do not become lighter in the winter. Rather, they form after several years of exposure to the sun. Lentigines are more commonly found in adults and older people. Doctors say that freckles are not dangerous and don’t indicate a health problem, several people across the world don’t want them. That’s reasonable since these tincture cells can make you look unattractive and old. Perhaps that’s the reason why our forefathers tried frantically to get rid of freckles. No wonder they came up with these ridiculous illogical convictions about freckles – some of which continue to exist to this day. The most accepted treatment of freckle removing these days is laser. Laser processes can eliminate freckles from the skin without being harmful to adjacent tissues.
Plus, they are quick to do and don’t need a lot of anesthesia. The removal of freckles with the help of laser takes between 5 to 10 minutes and unlike conventional therapy, the laser would not alter the texture or color of normal skin. But the difficulty with laser is its heavy cost, the pain it causes, and the important thing is that you won't be able to sunbath for a while since the lesions need to close. With less sun exposure, there is less chance that you will require cure for freckles with laser. It lightens the skin and removes ugly age spots, blemishes, and hyperpigmentation with its technically superior skin lightening formula. The best way to circumvent freckles is by shielding yourself from the sun, especially during summer. Of course, some people will almost certainly follow this advice since most of them would like to spend time outside, particularly on the beach. If you are one of those persons, you must use a good sunscreen. Check with a dermatologist to find out the kind of sunscreen and level of protection you need.
